Visits and Exchanges

Students participate in an extensive programme, developing respect for other cultures through personal contacts and experiences.

During the summer holiday, 35 students and 4 teachers successfully completed a 4-week expedition to Costa Rica. Challengers raise funds for this exciting opportunity and their efforts were rewarded with a fantastic expedition.

With just under seven months to go before the trip the itinerary has been finalised! All being well we should arrive into Cape Town on the afternoon of July 10th. Everyone is looking forward to seeing this vibrant city where we will climb Table Mountain and visit Robben Island for a talk with a former inmate.

We welcomed visitors from the Konko Gakuen Junior & Senior High School in Japan on Monday 31st March. The visiting students were given a tour of the school and were able to observe and participate in various lessons throughout the day.

Foreign affairs officers from Jiangsu Province visited Anglo European School to discuss on how to build a mechanism to facilitate comprehensive and organised two-way exchanges.

It feels like yesterday since we went to Wegimont. Everyone just stepping outside their comfort zone, even if it is for one day, by making new friends, speaking a foreign language, being more independent or simply just asking someone if they could have this dance.
