50th Anniversary

The Anglo European School is proud to announce our golden anniversary! For 50 years, we've been committed to nurturing young minds, fostering creativity, and shaping futures. We are looking forward to celebrating this in school, as well as with our wider Anglo Family and the community of Ingatestone.  

Join our festivities, as we reminisce about the past, celebrate the present, and envision an inspiring future. There will be special events, gatherings, and opportunities to reconnect with old friends and teachers.

50th Legacy Project

A group of CAS students will be sourcing funding for, and then working on, an installation of a piece of artwork to be mounted in the playground on the Sports Hall wall.  

They will also be looking to fund a buddy bench to be installed in the playground, to promote inclusion.

50th Celebration Event - 21st June 2024 from 4-8pm

We will be inviting ex-students, ex-staff, ex-parents and anyone who has been part of the Anglo Family to join us for a celebration evening, where we will be exhibiting historical artefacts, which have been stored in the Essex Record Office, and other historical exhibits of the local area from our ex-student, and friend to the school, Robert Fletcher.  We are also hoping to put together a memory wall of all the visits that students have taken part in - so, if you were a student and remember going on a school visit or exchange, have a rummage through the loft and see if you can find some photos to share.  These can be emailed in and we will get them printed.  Thousands of students have been on visits over the years, it would be great to see if we can create something memorable to celebrate this.  

Cricket Match - 1st July from 5pm at Ingatestone Cricket Club

What a better way of celebrating this special year than by an alumni v staff cricket match.   

Student Celebration Day - Friday 5th July 2024

We will be holding a celebration day in school just for students, where we will host special assemblies along with a big picnic on the field (weather dependent!)
