Meet Keith

Head Student

I chose to do the AIB route with A-Levels in English Literature, French and Sociology with my IB standard in Psychology. Coming from a different school, I feel content with my choice and the continuous opportunities the Anglo Sixth Form has on offer for me to grow as an individual. Being a Head Student has taught me many things such as hard work, responsibility and especially time management. In March, I was grateful to take part in an exchange visit to Paris where I worked in a French Bakery. The exchange not only helped me enhance my language skills, but also gave me an insight into Francophone culture. An experience I will carry with me for the rest of my academic journey.

Meet Anika

Head Student

I am currently on the AIB route studying Politics, Sociology and Finance alongside an EPQ. Starting as an external student in September, the Anglo helped me feel like I belonged. The quality that enticed me to the Anglo was the diversity of the school. Our school allows us to be who we are and express that in the way that best represents us. As a Head Student I feel strongly about advocating for the voice of my peers and helping further improve the school in a way which benefits everyone.

Meet George

Head Student

I am studying the AIB route, including A Level Business, Psychology and Drama and I am also completing the EPQ. I am an avid dancer and I aspire to become a professional dancer and choreographer in the future. Being a Head Student is such a privilege. The opportunity has helped me to grow my leadership skills, develop my sense of responsibility and has made me feel accepted as a part of the Anglo Family. What makes the Anglo experience truly unique is the community nature of the school. It really helps students to thrive - knowing that there is always a friendly face around who is willing to help. My favourite experience was the Eisteddfod. It was lovely to see so much talent and passion.

Meet Harriet

Head Student

I study four A levels: Maths, Physics, French and Music. I began my journey at the Anglo in Year 7, so you could say that I am well and truly part of the “Anglo Family”. The atmosphere at our school is open-minded and supportive and there is so much on offer to students. One of the most amazing opportunities at the Anglo has to be the exchange programme. I was fortunate to visit Paris as part of my work experience, where I lived with a French family and worked in a chocolate shop for two weeks. The experience helped me improve my French speaking skills and gain invaluable life skills. I have a passion for music and the performing arts, and I have been involved in organising and taking part in many shows and assemblies, including the famous annual Eisteddfod.
