Meeting the requirements of the 16-19 Study Programme

The 16 to 19 tuition fund

The school will utilises these funds to offer eligible students taught lessons in GCSE English and Mathematics from specialist teaching staff every cycle. The size of the groups between both qualifications vary but are often below our usual level 3 qualification class average, to offer an individual approach to teaching and learning

The students have been selected based upon the criteria that they do not currently have a GCSE grade 5 in English in line with our matriculation requirement, or at least a grade 4 in Mathematics, with the vast percentage of this cohort aiming to improve to a level 5 to enhance the opportunities available to them post Sixth Form.
